Call for Abstracts for Third National Sexual Violence Prevention Conference

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The planning committee of the Third National Sexual Violence Prevention Conference seeks submissions for presentations at the conference to be held in Los Angeles, May 25-28, 2004.

Topics of interest include:

- Reaching underserved communities

- Evaluating sexual violence programs

- Fostering partnerships between researchers and providers

- Ensuring culturally competent programs and services

- Including men in the prevention of sexual violence

The theme of the event is "Building Leadership and Commitment to End Sexual Violence." The conference is sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, California Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and the U.S. Department of Justice.
